Business Development at Rice Garden: every client and project is unique. We approach each new opportunity without pre-conceived ideas, which invariably leads to results. We’ve developed and implemented successful Chinese/Asian and sushi restaurants within supermarkets, colleges, casinos, office complexes and street locations. Our most distinctive value proposition, however, is our ability to develop and deliver an Authentic Chinese food experience for our guest.
Supermarket
We opened our first restaurant in a supermarket and we continue to be the industry leader in freshly prepared Chinese restaurants inside of host grocery locations. Our list of partners includes Albertson’s, Ball’s Food, SaveMart, Brookshire’s, Bashas’, Smith’s, and Stater Brothers. Our typical supermarke t location ranges from 500 to 800 square feet in size. Our working relationships with grocers differ slightly from company to company, but the common thread is that hosting a Rice Garden restaurant within their supermarkets has proven to be a win-win scenario for everyone involved.
Colleges and Universities
Our experience in working with universities around the U.S. has given us a unique position as institutional foodservice specialists. We understand the environment and we understand the demands that students, faculty and administrators have for value and speed of service. By designing and organizing our operations properly, Rice Garden restaurants can serve approximately 500 students in as little as two hours. Our typical college location ranges from 500 to 800 square feet in size. Furthermore, we also invest in our communities by providing unique career and training opportunities to students within the colleges and universities that we serve.
Shopping Centers and Non-traditional Venues
Several of our restaurants are located in food courts within malls and entertainment complexes. We look forward to continuing to grow our customized solution approach in shopping centers and other non-traditional venues (i.e., airports, travel plazas, military bases and hospitals). Our shopping center and non-traditional locations range in size from 650 to 850 square feet.
Street
Street locations give us the opportunity to maximize our identity while also giving our regular customers the opportunity to find us at locations that are convenient to support their day-to-day dining needs and making us an ideal destination for home meal replacements.
